New Awards for Ayr Film Society
Ayr Film Society received a Distinction Award for Best Film Programme at the CFA Film Society of the Year Awards.
Our Chair, Tony Scott, won an award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual.

Special Events from last season include the Christmas screening of 'The Grinch', in aid of Whiteleys Retreat; which attracted a big audience and raised £1800 for the charity.
Silent Movie Screening
Our annual Silent Movie Screenings are always popular; and this screening of the 100 year old 'Hunchback of Notre Dame' was a great success; accompanied on the organ by Aaron Hawthorne.
Special Themed Evening
On Thursday 7 December, we had a special screening of the film 'The Rose Maker' - where roses (of the chocolate variety) were in abundant supply! Also a fine range of refreshments - and ice cream.
